HUMANITARIAN ASSOCIATION JAPAN SOCIETY "FOR SERBIA, FOR BOSNIA" May 21st


In accordance with the difficult situation in which is our country today, together with other countries in the region : Bosnia with the Republic of Srpska and Croatia , we decided to postpone the Japan society awards ceremony, and today on the 21st of May , we organized a charity campaign under the slogan of Serbian tennis player Novak Djokovic : " for Serbia , for Bosnia ". Japan society awards laureates, representatives of Serbian companies and other notable figures in Serbian culture and art, as well as representatives of the " Foundation Novak Djokovic " and the Foundation " Ana and Vlade Divac " presented their humanitarian contributions and appealed to the World and all people of good will , to the governments of the world countries , and other humanitarian organizations in the World to help Serbia, Bosnia and the whole region to defeat this natural disaster .
Japan Society thanks to all the participants , all winners of the grand prize of Japan Society , the Museum of Yugoslav Film Archive , KUD " Lola " , especially flute choir " FLAUTINO classic Lola " and its others who have contributed to the implementation of this action .

Pozivnica na dodelu velike nagrade Japanskog društva - Invitation for the award ceremony of the annual prize of Japan society


Due to the exceptional achievements in development of our society, on the fields of culture , economy and society, the jury of Japanese society has decided to award the Grand Prize to the most meritorious pesonalities and companies:

1. ALEKSANDAR VUCIC, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Serbia, for his contribution to the development of Serbia by initiation of reforms of society that are unprecedented in the recent history of Serbia , for his notably remarkable efforts to build new, modern social order based on the highest international standards, for his outstanding results in actions against corruption and crime, and the overall changes in consciousness of society about the potential of the country and the new possibilities of development of the Republic of Serbia;

2 . MILORAD DODIK, President of the Republika Srpska, for his contribution to development of society, economy and security of Republika Srpska and region, for his contribution in improving the image of Republika Srpska in the region and beyond regional boundaries, for his efforts to run social reforms, for implementation of a new stage of progress of society and raising inter-state , inter-ethnic and general human relations in Republika Srpska;

3. EMIR KUSTURICA, humanist and author, for his outstanding contribution to the development of cultural awareness in the region, especially in Serbia and Republika Srpska, for outstanding contribution to the promotion of culture, history and traditions of the Serbs and other ethnic groups who live in our area, for the realization of long-term projects "Mokra gora" and "Andrićgrad" , which affirm our cultural and other values in the best possible way;

4. MASAFUMI KUROKI, Ambassador of Japan to the Republic of Serbia, for outstanding contribution to the cooperation between Serbia and Japan, for the implementation of Japanese aid to Serbia in many areas, including humanitarian assistance, particularly in the realization of the donation of hybrid vehicles of the Government of Japan to the Republic of Serbia, for his contributions in donations of Japan to the Republic of Serbia in the areas of education, health care and environmental protection.

5. ALEKSANDAR VULIN, Minister of Labour, Employment and Social Issues for outstanding contribution to sustainable development and help to Serbian communities in Kosovo and Metohija, for the contribution to the stabilization of the peace and relations between the Serbian and Albanian communities in Kosovo and Metohija.

6. SLOBODAN TRKULJA, musician, for his contribution in promoting Serbian culture outside the country and the development of traditional musical expression in the country;

7. Company " JT Japan Tobacco International " in Serbia and Mr. Danilo Stojanovic, Director of "JT International" a.d. Senta for humanitarian work, especially for grants to the National kitchens and implementation of the program of scholarships "Sakura " by JTI to students from Serbia for their researches in Japan;

8. Company "PRO TEAM", Belgrade and Mrs. Nela Perovic for outstanding achievements in business and improvement of business as a leader among companies in forwarding and transportation;

9. Company "TIGAR ", Pirot and Director General Nebojsa Djenadic for the program of company reorganization and humanitarian activities of the company "Tigar ";

10. Nursery "EDEN", Zrenjanin and Ilija Jovanov director of nurseries for the development of small enterprises in Serbia, private initiatives and achievements in the implementation of top scientific achievements in a small private company.

11. Special Award "Friend of Japan" japanologist Dragan Milenkovic, for a 40-year-old contribution to spreading Japanese culture in Serbia and presentation of Serbian culture in Japan.

09.05.2014. DONATION OF BOOTS FROM "TIGAR" CORPORATION TO HOME FOR CHILDREN WITH DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITIES "SREMČICA"


On the 9th May 2014 Japan society together with the donator company "Tigar" from Pirot, Serbia, implemented the program of donating 300 pairs of rubber boots for children in the institution for mentally disabled children "Sremčica" in Sremčica near Belgrade. The ceremony was attended by high officials and representatives of the Government of Serbia and other VIPs. Japan society thanks the donor, the company "Tigar", for the donation and to all the guests who attended the ceremony today.
